ABOUT ME

I live in melbourne and juggle uni, work, learning a couple of languages, a gaggle of friends, parties, festivals, dancing. I have travelled a bit and it is definitely one of my favourite things to do. Suddenly I seem to be going to China on an unexpected scholarship. I am really into arts, visual, performance [especially circus], as well as talking about current events, politics, history, physics and whatever.

PHILOSOPHY

To have as many interesting, enjoyable experiences possible and savour every moment of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just at the edge of the couch surfer community and am trying to get a bit more deeply involved as it sounds like a uniquely interesting way to experience the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the past my plans have been a bit too wayward to couchsurf, and I guess I was a little shy of it. Now that Im older and more organised [ha!] or at least ready to throw myself into the couch surfer community.

Interests

I am into art; drawing, painting, print making, drama, circus, music. I drink beer with my friends and rave about the world, politics, ironic sarcasm and other nerdy language things and what not.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam with a manta ray, it flew and was totally unbothered by me. I saw the moonscape of the Atacama desert, it was surreal and then I saw the flamingoes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love language. If you want to teach me yours I would love that, or just talk about the funny glitches and differences between them. I speak a few and if you speak one of them [spanish, portuguese, indonesian] I miss speaking them heaps!!! If you want to learn one of those I'll teach you as long as your patience lasts. I am working really hard to learn German so if you could practise with me that would be rad. I play a little Ukelele and would love to learn more. If you are an absolute beginner I could teach you some.
