ABOUT ME

I am a product of NW washington. Being in the outdoors is a must, yet as it rains here a lot, we find indoor activities to pass the time. I am a pretty easy going guy that is used to living with lots of people so accommodating others needs is not an issue. I consider myself a life learner so i am pretty open minded even if i may have some ideas about a particular subject. I have spent the last 6 years at WWU studying mathematics in both undergraduate and graduate study programs. As i have spent the last 3.5 years teaching at WWU, you might suspect that I love helping people understand mathematics, and you'd be right! As i look to the future I hope for more opportunities to travel and as my mission states, learn more about the world through the people that live here. I hope that someday when I am asked where I live that I reply, "the earth." To become so connected globally that one identifies home as the planet they live on would be truly eye opening.

Interests

I love time and spontaneity. Sometimes the call of an adventure runs too strong in my blood to refuse, but other times i just want to relax with friends old or new and have some laughs. In particular I love to dance (non formal) listen/ play music, study mathematics (some people like sudoku i would rather prove something), ride bikes, hike, cook dinners with friends, and all the better if everything happens on the fly!
