I thought about how I can make myself look interesting and approachable and at the same time, draw an accurate picture of how I roll without leaving too much information about myself out in the open internetz for anyone to read. I decided I would rather not get into self-descriptions, but maybe people reading can figure a thing or two from how I am not writing about myself here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly, I have been a very bad, non-existent actually, participant of CS for a long time now, but this had to do with priorities and time management. Although to be fair, there was also a phase where very weird people with very weird requests were contacting me, which made me less keen on frequently participating in this community. But at some point they stopped and now I hope to make more time in closer future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I mostly hosted amazingly nice people back in the day and have not stayed with others too much as my capacities for traveling so far were quite limited. There are multiple reasons for this.

Interests

My mind works best on visuality. My heart, if you want to take that as an Other to the mind, works on hearing processes. So these are the two main things I am interested in. Call it what you will.
Talking about content matters though, I am interested in conversations that run into nowhere most of the time because turns out you cannot conclude all the gedankenexperimente you try to save the world with. It is still nice to imagine all those better worlds though.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do watch movies. It's part of my desired profession.

And I read books, yes. This would also be part of my future profession.

I am not going to write a list of music I listen to. Maybe just two or three that just randomly come to my mind at this very point: Alabama Shakes, And So I Watch You From Afar, Dark Dark Dark. That's it. But there is always more.
