Overview
About Me
If life is a highway, then my personal road is a combination of the adrenaline fueled Autobahn, the perilous twists and turns of the Pacific Coast Highway, and the historical wealth of the Silk Road. I am fueled by adventure and the pursuit of passions. My passions are exploring the world, captivating audiences, and learning as many unique skills as I can.
As both an international tour leader and performance artist, my goal is to change people's lives, open their minds to new discoveries, and give them unforgettable experiences. I've been fortunate to lead outdoor expedition and cultural immersion tours in North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. When home in San Francisco, I'm training circus skills and entertaining audiences at festivals, special events, cabaret shows, and dinner theaters. I'm equally comfortable taking hours to get made up and dressed in an extravagant costume of my own design as I am going for days without a shower living in the wilderness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When in San Francisco, I am happy to meet up with travelers but with rare exception I can not host guests in my apartment. My landlord is very strict about guest stays. However, before my landlord cracked down on guests coming in and out, my roommate and I hosted Couchsurfers fairly regularly. We still host a yearly party taking CS members to San Francisco's infamous Folsom Street Fair, and many of the partygoers are repeat guests.
Like most of this community, I love meeting new people and learning about a destination from the locals. I usually arrive to a destination a few days before leading a tour to have extra time to explore and discover new places to delight my guests, and Couchsurfing is a great way to maximize my exploration!
Please note that I do not use Couchsurfing for dating, chatting, or to hook up, and I will only accept friend requests from people I have actually met in person.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'm currently making my way through "1001 Recordings To Hear Before You Die," attempting to expose myself to music that has resonated throughout the world and over many centuries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was plucked from the audience of a Cirque du Soleil show in Seoul, Korea to participate in a mime act onstage. When I finished milking my role for all it was worth, the Cirque performer broke character to tell me that I was fantastic. Who knew that years later I'd be contemplating auditioning for the show?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help cook and make creative cocktails for those who like to imbibe. I'll share stories of my unique exploits as a lifelong entertainer!
