Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got into couchsurfing through my brother in Ireland and was really impressed at how trusting everybody in the community is. I do not have as much time to take part in the community because of my busy job, but I love the idea of what it is trying to create, namely trust and generosity of spirit between human beings.

-Very limited, but positive, when I have had the opportunity to use it.

Very simple and obvious, but took me a long time to learn. Human beings grow and develop when we connect with each other, whether through friends/ travel/ family/ etc. Likewise, when we isolate and cut ourselves off from each other, we end up in pain, angry and insecure. We must constantly work on interconnectedness.
