Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Ive been involved in couchsurfing for several years now, both as a host and as couchsurfer. Ive had almost all great experiences and have met some people who I now count as really good friends through couchsurfing. I like to help people out and meet interesting people from different places.

Intereses

My biggest interest is nature, particularly animals and plants. I love to be outside.
Sustainability and low impact living is important to me .
I study gardening, permaculture and Swedish and i work at a school.
I love cooking and good food and good beer.
I like to play guitar, go climbing, skateboarding and listen to good music.

Música, películas y libros

The first style of music I fell for was punk rock, I loved the energy, and it still has a special place in my heart. Next was folk music, like Dylan and Guthrie, I played in indie folk bands for a few years and started a folk club in Swansea, Wales which still exists. Then it was indie rock, garage rock, mod and British invasion, psych, ska, reggae, roots and now Im really into left field hip hop and spoken word.
The Clash, Dylan, The kinks and Sage Francis are always winners for me!

I don't watch that many films but enjoy a good one. Don't like super heroes, macho nonsense, sexist films or anything to do with Nazis and WW2, the exception being Inglorious Bastards of course, and Im a wimp when it comes to graphic violence.

Like a good book and probably should read more, like a interesting story, not a huge fan of wizards, trolls and princesses.
