My current mission is to be working towards a goal.. any goal.. because to strive towards goals.. even if they may change over time, is what keeps humanity from becoming complete couch potatos

ABOUT ME

I'm just a regular guy trying to love and be loved in this crazy big world. I think I like to open doors just to see whats on the other side... I'm curious by nature and like to test things, to find out about the world we live in, especially what makes people tick... right now I'm a little lost and I might need to go all cliche and 'find myself' before its too late and I pass on back to stardust... but overall, in the grand scheme of things, I got mostly the good things in life going for me.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that people take life a little too seriously sometimes... and we always have a choice so long as we are willing to live with the consequences. Attachment to material things is what mainly leads to hardship, and once we let go of them we free ourselves of our chains.. because anything can be taken away from you at a moments notice, people, health, plasma tv's.. and if we can just find love then the rest of the world doesn't matter and things can be made to work out.

I help make groups look bigger (since I'm big enough to look like 2 more people arrived!) I go to cs events, surf, and host people when I get places

A bit of hosting and surfing... surfing is really hard work though... I prefer hosting...

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like all movies... movies are a great way to learn the subtleties of culture... we see through the eyes of the director how he or she sees the world they live in... the analysis of cultural productions is massively important to understanding people... and I think movies get a bad rap for being such a cheap form of entertainment...

As for books, I currently am really enjoying Malcolm Gladwell as his books are a great refresher of my university education and a continuation of a well written organization of disparate thoughts from all over the intelligent world.

As for music, i tend towards.. anything I like really.. especially music thats not in English.. I think its mainly because I enjoy the melodies more than the message with music.

I learn about people and what motivates them and the reasons for their behavior... so of you are willing to listen and to have a willingness to consider things from a new perspective.. i can teach about human behaviour and intrinsic motivation.. oh.. and I can help you improve your English too as i have lots of experience working with non native speakers.
