ABOUT ME

I am very focused on learning more about my greek heritage. I love to cook and hope to get better at making authentic greek cuisine. I also hope to learn to sail in the near future. I love biking and I am a decent bike mechanic.
I think of myself as having a strong passion for life and I am always excited to meet others like that.

PHILOSOPHY

Currently I am trying to follow the words of Charles Bukowski poem "roll the dice" which could be read here. http://bukowski.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3296
THe poem was shown to me shortly before leaving for this trip, and its been pretty instrumental in staying on it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this site but outside of this site of down a bit of couch surfing. I got my first real experience when I first started college. I ran into a nice enough looking person with a large bag and a lost look on his face. I was planning on meeting a friend but only had their email. Unfortunately for him Olympia is a small town and there wasn't any place open on a sunday afternoon. I invited him back to my dorm and in exchange he taught me a fantastic game called "drinky, laughy, spitty." I highly recommend it. I have hosted many people since then, but that has been the longest lasting connection as we have developed a network of mutual friends.
I also love experiences involving making a delicious meal for my host/ guest.
