ABOUT ME

I'm just an ordinary girl living an ordinary world. But I'm the kind of rebellious one. I think my parents especially my mom has learned about that. If you told me to go right, I'd go to the left. I'm also stubborn. I mostly live according to my own choice. Mom never push me to do something just like other parents did. I am a thinker type and very sensitive but I'm also expressive. My friends said what I feel, they can see it in my face. It's so obvious...

PHILOSOPHY

Both my parents are Catholics. I studied in Catholic school also when I was in elementary. My brother was an altar boy. But I'm a bit rebellious :D I have my own view about religion. I think every religion is good. None is better than the other. It's the people that makes it bad. So as long as you believe in God, whoever He is or whatever you call it, it's fine.

Life is full of choices and challenges. It reminds me of a poem 'The road not taken' by Robert Frost. Two diverged road, I can only see to one as far as my sight can see it, but I will never know what it will bring me to. Nobody wants to take the wrong road or make the wrong decision. But I believe every road you take will lead you to another road. If you take the wrong road, there's always a way to get back to the right track.

Interests

I'm interested in any kind of craft especially the handmade one. There's always something about handmade that make me think it's so priceless.

I like easy listening music, so that means almost any kind of music as long as it has a meaningfull lyric.

I'm a movie freak!! Together with friends, we usually spend the whole day just watching movies.

I like to read also. Romantic novel like Sandra Brown, or thriller from Sidney Sheldon, Grisham. There are also some other writers that I forget the name :D (there are too many). Oh! I also like J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter; the books and the movies. And also Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing I have done....

There was a time when I was working as a guide, I handled a tour for a family from Netherlands. We went to visit some interesting places around Malang. ON the way we talked about anything, everything and then they mentioned that they wanted to go to certain orphanage because they had a little something to share. I remembered one place where I used to work as a volunteer English teacher with my friends. It was a Catholics orphanage. The kids there were mentally sick. Some looked normal but when you got to know them more, you'd realize there was something wrong. So I told them about this place and they agreed to go there with me.

We went there in the evening after the tour. When we came, they were already prepared everything. The Brother there and also the kids who greeted us wore very neat clothes and so happy to have our visit.

We sang together. They practiced their English and we had dinner together. Then it was the time when we finally had to go. The family put some money in an envelope and gave it to the Brother. He shaked their hands so hard. He was incredibly happy. He kept saying thank you to me for bringing the guests here. And I coke up inside, couldn't say anything. In my mind I didnt do anything. I didnt give them money they needed. But his grateful thanks were filling my heart with happiness. That night I cried myself to sleep...
