About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To sleep on as many couches around the world as we can!
ABOUT ME
Chris's first time on an airplane was coming to Korea 1.5 years ago and has since caught the travel bug. He is a chill guy who enjoys rugby, hockey, bbqs, and anything outdoorsy really. Fishing is definately a passion as is music and reading. He is currently learning Spanish and can't wait to use it in South America.
Melissa has been lucky enough to travel from a young age. She loves learning about new cultures and traditions. She speaks English, Spanish and French fluently and is currently brushing up on her German. She studied Bio-Medical Science in university and considers herself to be a 'science nerd'. Melissa enjoys many sports, listening to all kinds of music, dancing, reading and watching movies.
PHILOSOPHY
The way I see it, if you're always looking forward to something, you're never sad when something is over.

Music, Movies, and Books
Chris: Favourite movies are actions, comedies, and horror. 'Pet Semetary' freaked me out the most as a kid. Books include anything by Andrew Nikiforuk and Jon Krakauer. Books about life in Africa always interest me. In high school I was all about Rage Against the Machine, university was White Stripes, and now I listen to Band of Horses. Pretty soon it'll be James Taylor or something.
Melissa: I like fiction and non-fiction books, there are so many novels I have enjoyed that it's hard to pick some favourites. As for music, I have a variety of genres that I like, such as; soca, pop, rock, classical, etc. As long as it makes me want to dance I'm happy. I love all sorts of movies, but my favourites are definitely comedy, action movies and documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Chris: I saw some pretty crazy things on a 12 hour train ride from Beijing to Xian. Little too out-of-hand to write here.
Melissa: I have seen many amazing things while travelling but the latest amazing thing would be hiking the Great Wall of China. It was gorgeous!
