One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have worked in many hospitals as a medical student including several mental hospitals. There I saw births, heart and brain surgeries and corpses. I also had some fascinating conversations with psychotic patients. Through these experiences I learned a lot about myself, about dealing with death and about the value of health and life in general.

Teach, Learn, Share

I offer free Mental Status Examinations (MSE) which are a structured way of observing and describing a person's current state of mind, under the domains of appearance, attitude, behavior, mood and affect, speech, thought process, thought content, perception, cognition, insight and judgment. Its purpose is to obtain a comprehensive cross-sectional description of the persons’s mental state. The data are collected through a combination of direct and indirect means: unstructured observation while obtaining the biographical and social information (in sober, tipsy and drunk condition), focused questions about current curious psychological deviations, and the reading of your CS profile. After your stay I gladly publish the results of your personal MSE in form of a written reference.
