ABOUT ME

We are outdoor enthusiasts, who enjoy surfing, walking, climbing, kayaking.
We are passionate about traveling. Spent time in South and Central America, Oz, NZ, Indonesia, Africa, Europe. Now living in Singapore. Trying to explore this part of the world as much as possible.
Love music, hate crap TV, love coffee and cake, hate boiled sweets, love open fires and sandy toes, hate central heating and sweaty arse cracks, love dancing and fancy dress, hate fighting and unfriendly folks. Love friendly folk thats why we try to meet folks on couchsurfing when we travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met many folks on trains and abroad, who have come and stayed on the couch and had amazing experiences. I have always enjoyed opening our doors to others and visiting others to have a richer travel experience myself. Much more fun to stay with people who live and know the area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spent 2 months with a woman I met in the Sydney airport on the way to Thailand when i was 19. It was amazing, lived with her family, worked in the local market, taught in schools, local experience. Visited many others I have met on travels.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies; Amelie, The straight story, action films, political films. Mainly something that gives a bit of food for thought. Just watched Mandela, long walk to freedom:)

Music:; everything apart from pop music. Mostly folk music and rock! Eddie Vedder, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Afro Celt Sound System, Gomez, Cake, Sublime, Fat Freddies Drop, JJ Cale, etc etc.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

We hitchhiked across the Atlantic (Tenerife to Martinique) to try to learn how to sail on our 10th anniversary. We both spent most of the day being sick! But both look back on it with great memories and was a cheap and crazy way to make our way to South America:)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I like meetin others who enjoy the outdoors and respect their environment, artists, adventurers. Most people really, as long as their heart is in the right place.

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

We can buy some food, go for walks, be sociable (or not if you prefer!). We are helpful round the home, can teach you to surf, climb, kayak, navigate with compass and map.... or Jonny can help with DIY, boat building, teach carpentry skills and generally we try never to be a hinderance. Just fun and friendliness.
