About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be the first people to go to the Moon (is it too late?)
ABOUT ME
We are a young married couple looking for a peaceful life in Kuching. We like to explore, climb mountains, play music.
Cyn is now studying to get her teaching degree. She loves dark chocolate and coffee almost as much as she loves her husband. She is Bidayuh (one of the indigenous tribes from Borneo) and can talk to you about local food (where John is totally useless)
Probably the most important thing you want to know about John is that he is one of the few lucky persons on this planet who is able to lick the very tip of his elbow! It might seem stupid but have a try...
Apart form that, John is into discovering nature, music and doing sport. He plays guitar, piano and loves to sing.
Now, if you want to see it in action and have a glimpse of the person you would have to deal with:

(Hope I don't scare away too many people...)
We also have a dog. Her name is Jalan. She was a stray dog dying in the street and rescued by a fellow couch surfer. Now she is healthy, adorable and very playful. (Be careful, don't let your sock on the floor...)
PHILOSOPHY
Don't worry, be happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We know the touristy and less touristy things to do in Sarawak quite well. Cyn is from here and John has been living here since 2006. We live in a fairly big house and can host travelers for a few nights.
We like to host people traveling with their friends/partners/rock&roll band/circus/ice hockey team... but you can still "apply" if you're on your own!
One more thing: WE DO NOT HOST COUCH-SURFERS DURING THE RAINFOREST MUSIC FESTIVAL. Sorry...
