ABOUT ME

I am a 29 year old female. I lived in Seattle for the first 18 years of my life, moved to Montana for college, studied abroad in Spain, lived in Baltimore for 3.5 years, volunteered in Lousiana and India, worked in Tbilisi, Georgia and will be moving to New York August 20th. I am enthusiastic about learning new languages, customs, how to make food from around the world and am known to be a very energetic and passionate person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In a month when I live in New York, I'll be happy to host people. My husband and I will have an extra bedroom. We can are happy to meet for coffee/tea too! Right now, we are looking for hosts :).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have only hosted a couple people. This will be my first trip looking for hosts!

Interests

I love to travel, cook for people, try new food, run, walk, hike, rock climb, swim, dance, learn new dances (especially the traditional dances from the countries I visit), meet new people and have access to clean toilets.

I would prefer a walk during the evening, playing games with friends at home or a concert or a coffee shop over sitting in a loud bar drinking a beer.

Too many books to mention, I like almost all music, especially world music, country, salsa and folk music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to salsa, bachata, merengue, tango, traditional Georgian dances (if you are a woman), traditional Serbian, Greek and Arabic dances. I can teach you how to cook Serbian, American, Indian, Greek and Georgian foods. I can also teach you how to knit.

I want to learn more dances, how to sow, about your customs, traditions and religion.

If you are cool, I am willing to share my friends with you.
