CURRENT MISSION

Hmmmm....get as far round South America and make as many new friends as possible before I have to go back to "the real world" in March I guess......or not go back at all! Would love to leave Brazil being ble to hold a converation in Portuguese!

ABOUT ME

My friends would (hopefully!) say that I am a funny person but also a reliable friend to turn to if they need anything. I sometimes find it difficult to make friends quickly as I am a little shy. Once i'm over that, I'm always the one to join a person when they want to do something, even if no one else will. I would say that i'm intelligent, well read and well travelled (compared to most!) - am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to work!

Treat people the same as you would like to be treated - if not better, because what goes around comes around.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is all new to me, but am not necessarily looking for a couch. Really all i can hope for is to meet some cool people while onmy travels who are willing to have fun, go out and show me the real underbelly. The people and places that other tourists don't see - hopefully return the favour to them one day wherever I may be! Like everyone I guess...

Anything to do with sport! I like to xercise and keep fit also. I love going to the cinema, and will go on my own if i have to! I also love listening to new music, but don't go to see live bands very often. Travel has been a big interest since me and my brother used to visit my mother at a young age, working on movies around the world.

Movies: too many to mention! Generally comedy (real life is hard enough sometimes!), but all.....except horror!
Music: Anything and everything....except country music!
Books: Prefer books based on real events. I particularly like books from Ireland by Ross O'Carroll-Kelly, although they are not stricly "based in reality"!
