To activate a harmonious active community in the hills of Costa Rica, and to have a good time doing it. The current, current mission, is getting there.

ABOUT ME

I have been traveling for some twelve years now. For many of those years, I supported myself as a traveling street performer/balloon artist. I recently spent the better part of three years in Minneapolis, where I exercised some of my other entrepreneurial pursuits. A year ago I set out with my family, in a veggie oil school bus, traveled to and bought land in Costa Rica. I have returned, this year, bought another bus, decked it out and loaded it with supplies for the farm. On my way back home to host as I have been hosted.

PHILOSOPHY

If it can be done, I can do it.
When everything is falling apart around you, create something.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted and have hosted couch surfers before this site even existed. The whole reason for having a farm is to host others and share my experiences of living in an alternative way, off the land, creatively though prosperously.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The list extends beyond my current desire to reckon. I seen it all kinds of ways. Almost all have been positive to varying degrees. Learning not to overstay your welcome is a key ingredient.

Wholesome living, playing music (djembe and didj), making and eating good food with friends, connecting community, being of service, co-creating in general, climbing trees, sharing information, kicking back and watching the clouds roll by (preferably in a hammock.)

After years of hitchhiking, jumping of cliffs, driving adventure travel tours, sleeping wherever my head lies, doing bodywork in a sky-rise spa, converting a bus to run on veggie oil, Getting paid thousands of dollars to prepare food and teach it, imagining and manifesting my whims, the most amazing thing I've done is humbled down to be a dad.
