ABOUT ME
It really is hard to describe yourself, but here goes.
Spela: I love things and people who make me laugh. Since I was little I've had great passion for animals and now I'm a keen horseback rider and I dream of someday adopting a retired racedog. Untill than I "kidnaped" Sandro's family Golden retriever Ajka.
I'm not much of a party person but I do love going to the cinemas and drinking coffee with my friends all day long. Just talking, laughing, a bit gossiping and having fun.
A also love photography. Since I'm more into sports photography and with my love for horses I love photographing showjumping. So while traveling a camera is as important as a passport to me.
There is this thing I can't get rid of and all my friends hate: I keep correcting mistakes people make in Slovene language. I guess that's because I'm going to be a teacher of Slovene language and Philosophy. And I hate the bad status students of philosophy have in my country - most people think we are just a bunch of lazy students and that it's all about empty words.
I've wanted to be a teacher since I was little and while I was studying I worked as a childrens animator and nanny and also as a family event menager, for what the company evetually hired me for. Through the years I've got so many valuable experiences that I even don't mind I havent have my degree jet since it is really hard to get emplojed now in our country.
I like meeting new people, I feel happy when I can help someone in anyway I can. Sometimes I like to being all alone, to have time to read, watch a movie or just relax in peace.
Sandro: I am a happy person, I love helping people, that's why I work as a nurse in the hospital. Besides that I am a sports addict. I played soccer all of my life but now I'm more into cycling. But I enjoy watching every kind of sports there is on the TV and I would like to go cheering for our national athletes to any important matches. I love hanging out with my friends who are mostly my former team mates from soccer so we known us for all of our lifes. Drinking a couple of beers, talking about sports and making jokes in the best party of my opinion.
I love nature and as a child I went often hiking around Slovenia's beautiful hills and mountains, and now I'm trying to get Spela into hiking as well.
I'm a bit shy with meeting new people, but once I get to know them I loosen up. I think the CS is an ideal way for people like me to start enjoying meeting new people.
I have a brother, he's 10 years junger. It's fun watching him grow and starting to have more things in common and taking him bowling or to the cinemas. He looks up so much to me and I try my best to spend time with him as much as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
Spela: favourite movie is Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. I also like fantasy-adventure films like Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, The Twilight Saga - to feed the child inside me.
The best book I read was Alamut by Vladimir Bartol.
My all time favourite singer is Bryan Adams. And then the music depends on the current mood.
Sandro: I love dalmatian music. I really like the lyrics, mostly about the sea, nationality and love for life. Spela doesn't like it, though, except when in Croatia, so I was really surprised when she bought us tickests for a concert of my favourite singer Miso Kovac for my birthday.
Spela: due to our different taste for music, we mostly have the local radio on. And I always laugh when "my" music is played and Sandro's isn't.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spela: I have been on a student exchange in Prague, Czech Republic. Living in a different culture, with people from all over the world, being alone in a foreign country ... Those were 5 amazing months of my life!
Everytime I have the privilige to interact with a horse, to ride and to feel the joy while being around them, is amazing.
Visiting the colorful Sri Lanka and my favourite New York City and knowing I will return!
Sandro: backpacing to the sea-side the first time with Spela. I guess my amazing thing I've seen is still to come!
Teach, Learn, Share
We believe we teach and learn all the time. This happens in every interaction with others - while talking we share our opinion, our view of the world. And people, who really listen, can learn from you just by listening and seeing the world through your eyes.
