About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Mission: Impossible.

ABOUT ME

I'm a reasonably healthy 22 year old male with several vices (music, photography and beer)
I was born in Malaysia to an English mother and a Chinese father, grew up in Papua New Guinea before moving to Australia where I have lived in Townsville, Brisbane, Melbourne and finally Sydney.
I never managed to escape the left handed fate of creative despair: I play guitar, write, paint, act, take photos, do whatever I can in any field that never earned anybody any good money, but it's for the love - right?

... Right?

PHILOSOPHY

Whatever doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger.

Or kills you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having kicked off my couchsurfing adventures in South East Asia, and realising that our guest room at home was going to enormous waste, my housemates and I hosted some of the greatest people for a year until the room was unfortunately filled by a permanent housemate. He's not the unfortunate part, Luke's actually a great guy, but just unfortunate because our couch is too small to sleep on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Getting lost in Bangkok and finding myself at a couchsurfing party in an enormous house where we painted murals on the walls for two days and took death defying scooter rides into town for more supplies.

Interests

I'm really good at
Writing improvised Haikus
Refridgerator.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Held an impromptu roof party on the top of our hostel in Seattle in the winter time: right across the road from the water and Pike St Markets.

Illegal beer, a cowboy from Arkansaw, a lost girl from New york, a Jamaican Chess Genius and a Las Vegas Stripper.

Unforgettable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know my way around a camera like the back of my hand, and they way that photographs comment on us, conjure emotions and shape our history is something I'll never get tired of.

I'm also handy with a number of instruments, and have a couple of recipes tucked under my sleeves when it comes time to swap cooking tips.

Countries I’ve Visited
