ABOUT ME

pixies fan, something of an activist. wherever there is injustice, there i am, BEING INJUST. no, just kidding. i tend to get myself involved in some level with political questions that affect me or are near to me. as i dig into these subjects, my involvment is, however, usualy sabotaged by my immobility. understanding is enemy to action. i do believe that... so many points of view, which should be elected as a direction? i don't feel comfortable closing my eyes and doing things half randomly... so, my activism is more superficial than it should be. more of a campaign for political awareness than political action itself. hummm, i guess i haven't found the right balance yet.

i can be grumpy like an old man (or lady), but it is the grumpiness people laugh about. it doesn't really bother people, and it doesn't mean i'm bothered with something. it's just a habit. (DO NOT FEAR MY GRUMPINESS - oh god, why did i mention it?)

as for surfing, i consider myself a post modern mary poppins. if you let me into your place, i will refuse to leave until i've gonne throug all of your deep personal problems and fixed them.

couch surfing provided me not only places to stay, but also a completely different relation with the places visisted by me, more human and much less superficial.

Interests

i'm very interested in music in general, and would really enjoy learning something about the music you like. i also enjoy politics and literature, with a wide range of interests. i feel as i have a reasonably defined taste in music, but still have to read a lot before i can define myself politicaly and literarily.

i am reasonably athletic. i do enjoy exercising in general, as i enjoy the wildlife, tracks and this sort of thing, but am not bold or organized enough to go after as many experiences related to it as i could. one more reason to get to know people in couch surfing!
