About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To understand. To listen. To be humble. To explore the depths of my freedom and how it is suppressed by my culture so that I can do to help liberate myself and others.

ABOUT ME

I was bit by the travelling bug two summers ago when my mom brought me to Europe for a month. Ever since, I have been fascinated with seeing new places, meeting new people, eating local food, and getting caught up in the adventures around me. I am always trying to understand the world more and appreciate the uniqueness of each human being. I look forward to meeting anyone eager to learn, give and take some of my mediocre cooking!

PHILOSOPHY

We are socially emergent forms, we are constructed by society. Language is our most powerful tool and until we understand how to control it we will always misunderstand each other and violence will prevail. Love and truth are great but remarkably elusive, but they are at my core. I want to see you and I want you to see me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote a really good paper one time. I burned my report card over the toilet in 8th grade because I got a B-. I hiked up a mountain in Utah by myself and skied down a chute or you might say couloir. Fun but dumb. I bummed around the Western US for a month.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know stuff about science, skiing, backpacking, travelling, roadmaps, matchbooks, keyboards but not computers, I am absolutely NOT handy, my body, fingernail clippers, good American music, Tom Foolery, indigenous cultures of the Americas
