ABOUT ME

Born and bred in London, I went to drama school and studied acting for three years in Edinbrugh, then made some money from a couple of cheesy adverts so thought I would use the money to travel the world rather then just use it on rent. Best decision I've ever made

I'm open-minded, fun and a very genuine and honest kinda guy. I've travelled all across the US for three months (San Farncisco, Chicago, Austin and New Orleans are my top pics-and NYC of course) and lived in Australia for a year travelling around and working in events management in different arts festivals. After that I travelled New Zealand and pursued an acting ambition of mine to get a part in The Hobbit( prequel to lord of the rings) but alas it didn't happen- still waiting for that phone call though!

Then I moved back to Melbourne, which is the most incredible city in the world and somewhere i want to live permanently one day, but unfortunately broke my foot twice- initallly running away from an imaginary crocodile(true story) and the second time checking out a very attractive person whilst crossing the street.

It took a whille but after 6 months and an operation to put a metal screw in my foot I can walk again. Hooray!

As my visa is up in Australia and i want to head home for the 2012 London Olympics , where I've got a volunteer position helping to hand out medals :-), I decided to travel asia for few months before heading home in March after a massive 2.5 years away. I've been to Cambodia, Vietnam and next on my list is Korea and Japan and would love to meet some awesome couchsurfers in these places before heading home.

I love meeting people from different places and walks of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a night in Monument Valley in Arizona, USA. In the shadow of one of the many huge red rock formations that dot the area, a few of us slept outside next to the fire to see the stars but it was pretty cloudy so we fell asleep a bit unsatisfied. At 3:47 pm I woke up suddenly after hearing a coyote howling, and all that was left of the fire was the dim glow of embers. As i looked up my breath was taken away by the star studded sheet that lay above me in the cold desert night.It was as if I was seeing the entire cosmos in those moments and there were great swirls of distant galaxies and far-off stars that only I could see. It felt like i was the only person in the world right then, and I was enveloped in this huge overwhelming silence only interrupted by the sound of my shallow breathing and the intermittent gust of chilly October desert wind.
