One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was the time I was in Toronto in some bar called Communist's Daugter, with the amazing Angela Leung. On Monday nights everyone brings along their vinyl and they play it; after the first side everyone gets to vote if they want to hear the second side or move onto the next record. Luckily I always travel with a copy of the Clash's 3-disc LP "Sandinista!" for occasions such as these.

Anyways after the place was supposed to close at 2am, three guys started playing some cool jazz-type shit on acoustic guitars. Then the barman, who looked like a Quebecois Larry David, whipped out a trumpet and totally wailed on it. And a few other drunks made percussion with their hands and various objects/furniture/people. I really liked Toronto.
