Over my years of traveling, I have been welcomed into many homes. Having the opportunity to stay in someone's home while traveling changes the visit into an experience. After leaving the place, I remember the people I have met not the hostels I have stayed in. I think this is the best part about traveling and the best kind of life education available.

兴趣

My mother likes to say that I have a three year itch. According to her, every three years I store my stuff,pack my bags, and look for opportunities to travel around the world. I am not sure if it is that calculated- but I do love to travel and I always come home.

音乐、电影和书籍

I love to read. I read primarily fiction but I am not opposed to picking up an informative non-fiction. I don't watch much TV but I do like movies. I always enjoy foreign films or independent films. Any movie that I continue to think about after I leave the theater would probably be worth a recommendation.

The Salar de Uyuni is one of the most breathtaking places I have visited. It is located on the Bolivia/Chile border and is a huge dried up salt lake. You think you are standing on ice looking out over a frozen lake but it is really miles of salt.
