Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just getting started here at Couchsurfing, looking around, learning how it all works.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I have not participated in Couchsurfing yet, I do have plenty of experience with showing people around the city of Oslo. I have worked as a guide for tourists, and in my spare time I have also given tours and advice to friends, friends of friends and children of co-workers of friends. I've offered a couch to traveling friends, although I did at least kind of know them already at the time. And I've always loved these experiences.

Interests

I find that I can be interested in nearly anything. Boredom doesn't happen to me that often. But to list some stuff I particularly enjoy talking about: anything to do with journalism, information technology and the internet including blogging, politics in the broadest sense of the word (as long as you're not bad at arguing), stories (as in novels, films, tv shows, short stories), coffee, traveling, food and cooking, clothes and shoes, anything you've read and found interesting, and anything that you really, really care about (because when people care about what they talk about, conversations often get interesting - as long as you're not just complaining).
