I was born in Flensburg in Germany. I grew up in small town called Eutin. I lived in Hamburg for 6 years now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I have only hosted friends and family since my home is a tiny 30 qm one bedroom apartment, but I´d love to change that as soon as I get a bigger place. I´ve tried couch surfing a few times with my sister and I love it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much yet, but keen to expand my experiences. As I said before I have only hosted friends and family and when travelling myself I stayed in hostels or with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huuuge music lover. I need music in every single situation of my life. I so enjoy stumbling across new music and sharing it with people that appreciate it as much as I do.
Just to name a few, I have just come to like "The Submarines" and "Miss Li"; I luvluvluv "BOY", "The XX", "Of Monsters and Men", "Angus and Julia Stone", "Lykke Li" or "Feist". Also enjoy "Maximo Park", "The Red Hot Chillie Peppers", "The Whitest Boy Alive" or "Florence and the Machine"
When it comes to partying I like electro music, but am also happy with other stuff.

With movies I´m pretty mainstream. I like easy movies like romantic comedy that make you feel good. I also like action movies and sometimes I´m also up for some heavier stuff. I like Woody Allen.

Unfortunatly I haven´t had the time to read in a while, but I like books from Joy Fielding (See Jane Run). I also enjoyed the whole Harry Potter Series. Or again - easy stuff like from Cecelia Ahern.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I´ve done and seen a lot of amazing things since I finished school in 2004 and really got into traveling. I´ve done severel helicopter flights (e.g.12 Apostels, Oz) and scuba dives, a skydive in NZ and visited the Taj Mahal in India.

But the most amazing thing are the people themselves. I just love to meet people and get an insight of who they are and love the inspiration and impulses you get out of those kind of situations.

One amazing situation happened when I was in India in 2011. I spent one morning watching and photographing a whole family at the beach. We didn´t speak each others language, but just enjoyed the company. I took photos of them playing and running in the water and they just loved posing for my camera and then having huge giggles as I would show them the pictures on the back of my camera. Simply beautiful moments.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I am a professional photographer, I´d love to share my knowledge with everyone who´s interested in how to take better pictures.

I´d love to improve my scuba diving skills and start learning a new language like Italian.
