About Me

ABOUT ME

Heellloo! I am Laura. I am also new to couch surfing (as of 1/3/10). I am finishing up my undergrad studies at Skidmore College, which is up in horse-country NY. I am studying anthropology and english, which doesn't mean much these days. To stay sane, I write, play the trumpet, sing, read, and run. I also enjoy a nice game of 3 v 3 basketball, and love to attend wine and cheese parties. I love wine. I also love to travel, and my top countries of future exploring include France, India, Argentina, Switzerland, and Japan. I lived in Ghana for a little while, and think I could continue to live in Western Africa for the rest of my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Put yourself first. You have to. Once you are content with your life can you really do your best to help others. That, and stop worrying about the economy. And jobs. And money. It will all work out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I am currently living on Long Island while I am home for winter break, so I recommend you NOT coming to visit. When I am back in Saratoga Springs in late January, a couch will open up just for you!! You can also watch me walk to class. And we can get a cup of coffee in town. Or a glass of wine.
