About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a wee lassie from Australia... grew up on a dairy farm in Northern Victoria and now call Melbourne home. After Uni, I was working for the state government in planning and community development (specifically - family violence issues in Indigenous communities). I quit my job with grand aspirations of wandering the planet wherever the wind may blow me.

I enjoy a good laugh, a good meal, and however cliche - new places, experiences, and people. I am taking my time and don't want to miss a thing.

PHILOSOPHY

I'll get back to you on that...at this point it's 'fly by the seat of one's pants!'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up to CS because of my big trip - and I am hoping that some generous souls will let me crash on their couches. In return, I am more than willing for others to do the same chez moi - once I am back in the land of Aus!

Music, Movies, and Books

So, so many...let me stay and we can talk about them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last week I visited the amazing temple at Abu Simbel in Egypt's south. It was awe-inspiring despite having been relocated block by block out of the way of Lake Nasser! A highlight of Egypt for sure!
