Now, what little I know about me!

I was born in Huntington Beach, have lived most of my life throughout Southern California, and, no matter what costume I wear, I remain a beach bum at heart.

I've lived in L.A., Santiago de Chile, Seattle and Cologne and have had enough of the big city life. That's partly why I live in Northern Sweden now.

I've worked in restaurants, IT, personal finance, concert production, security, and a ton of other fields, but for the longest time worked as a Spanish/English medical interpreter and translator. Most recently, however, I discovered that I am best suited for early childhood education and have worked as a kindergarten teacher over the past 5 years, and it's been the most rewarding job I've ever had.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The spirit of CS really helps bring wanderers of all kinds together more easily than ever. This is how I've met some extraordinary humans who I might otherwise never have met.

Interests

Meeting other people and learning about cultures and languages (and food!).
Camping or just being in the wilderness. Listening to all kinds of music.
