ABOUT ME

I work as a social and political analyst in London and live with my partner David. I have lived, studied and worked in Germany, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom. I love travelling, it is my way to get to know myself and of course make many new amazing friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Go visit as many places as possible, meet as many different types of people as possible, explore, take chances, be spontaneous, try to appreciate even the smallest of things in life, be positive, and laugh and smile. Question your surroundings.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people and try to avoid tourist crowds, organizing tours and package holidays like the pest. Going off the beaten track, meeting locals and having an authentic experience while travelling is what I always aim for. Couchsurfing is therefore an ideal way to make all this happen :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couch surfing experience in 2010, when I stayed for 5 nights with Turkay in Istanbul and loved it! He ended up hosting 6 cousurfers in total, which became a bit cramped, but all the more fun.
My second couchsurfing experience was with Naomi in The Netherlands. She hosted me one night a week for 3 months while I was doing an internship at the WWF. Again, a wonderful experience, and I hope to do some more couchsurfing soon, and also host, once I have the space...
