ABOUT ME

my name's kate. i think i am pretty nice. i like to travel and meet other nice people. i also want to save the world, but who doesn't?

in october 2011, i packed up my bags and "moved" to asia. i spent a month in thailand getting my CELTA and then spent five months backpacking around southeast asia and china. i was an english teacher (who would've guessed) at an international private school in incheon.

in april 2013, i decided i was ready for change -- so i went to india to travel and volunteer.

in september 2013, i moved to istanbul to teach english.

in january 2015, i moved to cape town, south africa and am getting my master's degree in development studies.

MEN - I do NOT use couchsurfing as a hookup tool, so please do not contact me if that is what you are interested in. i am currently living with my boyfriend and even if i wasn't, i would not be interested in using couchsurfing for that, so please don't waste your time or mine.
