About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To storm the reality studios, retake the universe, and marinade it in a mixture of madness and magic. Simple stuff.
ABOUT ME
On the move...
Hop skip jumping on the razor edge between madness and sanity in a bid to see magic in every moment and spread the song of bliss.
I am an outlaw poet, dreamer of the undreamable, and part-time shaman. A certified bibliophile, I bury my nose in whatever literary worlds are available in between scribbling sordid and psychedelic poetry, cooking up vast pots of masala chai and warming soups, and playing capoeira whenever and wherever possible.
I am a certified English language teacher (having taught in the blandlands of South Korea for 2 years) and an uncertified delver into a plethora of philosophical and spiritual systems.
I juggle, I cook, I grow vegetables, I drink tea, I DJ, and I wanna have a good time!
PHILOSOPHY
As recounted to me over a clutch of beers by a Bulgarian bodhisattva in the Rila mountains of Bulgaria, and thereon assimilated into my personal pantheon of philosophy: 'God is sleeping in stone, is dreaming in flowers, is awoken in animals, and knows he is awoken in man.' However you want to interpret that, whatever definition you ascribe to the concept of 'god', have fun with it!
My personal religion is curiosity concerning the nature of mind, reality, and the interweaving of these two not-so-separate entities. My motto is sat-chit-ananda, follow your bliss!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted freaky and funky folks from all manners of places, taking them on rollercoaster tours of my homeland, cooking up feasts for both belly and mind, and love nothing more than showering 'strangers' in hospitality. My home is your home. Welcome!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsuring all over Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Serbia and Turkey in 2011 was pretty fantastic! Also the many members of the Tribe we have met hosting in Scotland. Far too many to single any one instance out. Needless to say, it has been one hell of a blissful adventure and I look forward to much, much more!
Interests
Well, everything, in all honesty. Baba Ram Dass recounted to Terence McKenna the words of a Tibetan lama which went something like this. Dass, 'It is said one should strike a path in life halfway between hope and hopelessness. McKenna, 'So what's that? Just 'Meh!'?' Dass, with a lunatic grin in his eye, 'No! It's 'PHWOOOOOOOOAR!'
I am constantly amazed at the beauty and love that surrounds in all manners of situations, and I look forward to all such instances for the learning they impart.

Also, I took teachings from the Dalai Lama in a glacial valley in northernmost India. He said not to take teachings from the Dalai Lama. Kill the Buddha.
