ABOUT ME

I love life! I was born and raised in the beautiful Northwest (USA). I have been bit by the travel bug and I'm SO excited to explore new places. I recently (two years counts, right??) graduated from college and now I'm one of those wondering souls that isn't quite sure what to do (and I'm okay with that). Eventually I want to continue my education, but I have many more places to go and people to meet before going down that road.

I'm always down for fun, whether that means going to a show, grabbing a drink at happy hour, or snuggling on the couch to watch a movie.

I like staying active (I'm a new fan of Bikram yoga), playing music when I can (I sing and play guitar), finding new things to cook, and currently planning a big move to Europe.

Here is a list of random things I want to do sometime in my life. Let me know if you want to join!
Own my own coffee shop.
Go backpacking in Europe. (Did it...but certainly not done)
See the pyramids.
See the ball drop in Times Square on New Years.
Go skinny dipping.
Be on the Price is Right(Done! when good old Barker was the host).
Wear a business suit (with pin stripes) for one of my jobs.
Do a triathalon.
Catch a Fish.
Go on a motorcyle trip with my girlfriends.
Bungi Jump.
Sky Dive.
Play music at Pike Place Market.
Go to Graduate School.
Be a highschool college counselor.
Rock climb.
Be an extra in a movie.
Be able to do intense yoga. (I'm working on it)
Live until I'm a 106.
Learn how to play the Harmonica.
Be a pilgrim in Spain.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My few CouchSurfing experiences happened when I was backpacking around Europe. They were easily some of my best memories of the trip. I have never (EVER) met such open and welcoming people in my life.

CouchSurfers will make the world a better place :) We need more open doors and less locks!

As for music, I will listen to almost anything. Acoustic guitar will always melt my heart and warm my soul!

My favorite movie of all time is Pulp Fiction.

I love to read and have probably started hundreds of books and finished maybe half of them. Woops.

My freshman year of college three of my girlfriends and I went on an epic road trip from Bellingham, Washington to Corona, California (almost to Mexico). I always think of that week as the time I gained my independence, hookey as that sounds. To name a couple of the amazing happenings: We were on the show The Price is Right (Bob Barker days) and the old Mayor of Santa Monica washed my hair for $5.

Something I can teach? Perhaps a few guitar chords. Maybe some yoga poses. I am also an experienced golfer and bowler (old man sports, I know:)
