About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Our current mission, as we've chosen to accept it, is to travel lots, write even more, photograph quite a bit and learn beaucoup d'idiomas ;)
ABOUT ME
We both study French at university. Jake also studies Social Anthropology and Fiona dabbles in some Spanish! We are now in our second year of uni and we met just over a year ago. We travelled together for the first time this summer (see our destinations) and are super keen to do it some more. Jake is an amateur photographer who has been published in newspapers and a book. Fiona loves fashion and reading and would like to start writing. We love music and films and food and coffee and all that kinda stuff. We're a friendly, laid-back couple and love meeting new people and hearing their stories :)
PHILOSOPHY
Just go and see what it's like. There's no point speculating about a place - go experience it for yourself!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are new to the CS community but will do our best to provide a space for people wanting to couch surf. We are really keen to couch surf and increase awareness of the project because it definitely seems like one of the best ways to travel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jake rode through Marrakech on the back of a moped just as the first rains of summer came down - pretty scary but the smells of Marrakech and the rain on my face made it pretty exhilarating!
Fiona stood at the top of the Empire State Building at sunset on a warm July evening - incredible, goosebumpy view :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Jake can teach people how to take photographs.
Fiona will soon be able to teach English.
Fiona would like to learn how to do some handicraft things e.g. cross-stitching, ceramics etc. Also, painting and learning any language.
Jake would like to learn how to speak Arabic and Russian.
