ABOUT ME

I'm a restless and open minded soul, running around smiling at old people and greeting their dogs. I love traveling but unfortunately I don't do it as often as I would like to. Hopefully CS will change that.

My friends tend to say that I'm a very driven person who always wants to learn new things. I can agree on that, but the dark side of it is that I get quite good at many things instead of really good at one thing. But the curiosity and the will to learn is a good thing I guess!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Because I love the concept of easy traveling and the opportunity to meet other people in their homes, which gives you a closer look at the life and culture in the city.

I've surfed once and hosted once, both great experiences!

I LIKE...

MUSIC, which is my great passion. I play guitar and piano and someday I wanna learn to play violin and play in a bluegrass band! Some of my dearest artists and bands: Joni Mitchell, David Bowie, Björk, Beck, Queen, Smashing Pumpkins, Beatles, Beach Boys, Patti Smith, Tori Amos, Claude Debussy...

SPORTS. During summer I play a lot of football and beach volleyball.

TO READ AND WATCH MOVIES AND STUFF. I mainly read young adult fiction at the moment, maybe a result of working with teenagers. "Perks of Being A Wallflower" is one of my favourites. Favourite movie is probably "Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind".

TO DANCE, even though I definitely wouldn't call myself a dancer. I have danced some lindy hop though! I had grand ambitions, but in the end I hadn't enough time for it.

TO TRAVEL, although I do it way too little, which is why I sign up here to encourage myself (:
