About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Soaking up all the fun and adventure that my first California summer has to offer!
ABOUT ME
It has been quite a while since I traveled (a friend from Denmark recently surfed at my house and I realized we hadn't see each other in 2 years!!!), and I miss it and being with people who see the world with possibility and wonder. I am tinkering and plotting my next trip and excited to meet other CSer's! I just moved to LA and am already enjoying all the nearby hikes and adventures that are around the city.
PHILOSOPHY
I love life! I am a genuinely happy person, who is up for anything and everything. I am easily convinced to do something and even better at convincing others to tag along. I am very open, easygoing and funny and like nothing better than hanging out with good people, talking, watching movies, eating great food, playing sports and traveling!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted people a few times, mostly people I met while traveling that I invited to stay should they ever get to America (and a shocking number have!). Also, I am constantly hosting friends from college and who live in other parts of the country. I surfed while I was in Eastern Europe and loved it! Just had my counsin's cousin on the other side crash for a month while she was finding a place in LA and now that she has, my couch is available!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My sister's friend lives in London and I crashed on her couch for a week when I was last there. It was great. Now we are really good friends and we even decided to go to Morrocco together for a week while I was out there! I have stayed with friends of friends in most of the countries I have been too, and I am excited there is a community of people who enjoy meeting new people as much as I do!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Is all acceptable? Wayne's World, Anchorman, Fight Club, Green Street Hooligans, Gone in 60 seconds, Step Up, Wall-E (any pixar for that matter), Bourne, Mission Impossible, Bruce Willis (yep he's a category), Pride in Prejudice, A Very Long Engagement, She's the Man... so many more!
Books: Ender's Game (all Orson Scott Card), The Wheel of Time, Anne McCaffery's books of Pern, Kushiel's Scion, I love to read and read a lot of Sci-fi and fantasy
Music: I am the girl that sings along to every song and can never remember who they are by. I love music, just don't actively follow it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snorkeled Great Barrier Reef, walked the Great Wall, spent 3 weeks in UK/Ireland with only 2 days of rain and 80 degree weather, been to 5 continents, was offered 3000 camels for myself, went splunking in New Zealand, swam with Nessie, Hitchhiked from Turkey into Bulgaria...
Teach, Learn, Share
I coach soccer and the biggest thing I have learned is that children will strive if you give them a goal, instill in them your confidence in them that they can reach that goal, and give them the space to do it.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Morocco, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Romania, Rwanda, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia, United States
