ABOUT ME

i guess i am a tomboy at heart being the oldest of four with three younger brothers. i have grown up in many different places in NSW and have seen many places around the world. i really value my friends and family, i could not survive without them.

i wouldnt describe myself as a funny person but i love a laugh and im always up the first one to put my hand up for a crazy adventure. i enjoy my beach time and love living so close to the beach.

i would describe myself as being very australian, i love my country and our way of life. love aussie sports and aussie beer and would live in shorts and thongs every day if i could.

at this time in my life i am really looking forward to forming new friendships and learning more about the world

PHILOSOPHY

one of the best quotes that i have heard which i like to use is "if you beleive you can do something you will, if you beleive you cant you wont". this is true about everything i am such a positive person and believe that we learn from all lifes experiences and this leads us to our next path in life. i think the most important thing in life is to love your friends and family and live life true to yourself and your beliefs. never be afraid to to open to learn new things and change your thinking. no matter how bad your day is keep smiling because there is always a positive sometimes in mysterious ways

at the moment i would just like to meet more couchsurfers and then take it from there with any other way that i would like to participate

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have met a few people travelling who are keen couchsurfers and have surfed a few couches mainly through india in 2008/2009 when i went travelling for a year. loved the people that i met and decided to join up to keep meeting like minded people

have just started to get into canyoning up in the blue mountains with my brothers.
sport - cricket, rugby league, soccer, volleyball, netball
going to the beach and just generally anything outdoors. i enjoy music, dancing, having drinks with friends.
travelling, there is still so much more of the world that i have yet to see
i love cooking good food and baking cakes

i love all types of music especially music from the 80s and 90s. where ever i am i am always singing.

my fav movie are comedys or chick flicks but i do like action as well, not so much a horror movie fan

love reading books, romance novels or true stories especially while i am travelling through the countries i like to read local books. i also have been known to read many lonely planet books in my planning for travels

i guess one amazing thing that i have seen is something that i see quite often, i have seen many things all over the world that are amazing but the thing that sticks with me and being the most memorable is the impact that you can have on a persons life. this could be a child or an adult, friend or stranger but there is no better feeling than knowing that you have made a difference in someones life for the better. i work with kids all day and i see them push themselves to overcome their fears and it is amazing to see what people can do. the picture will never leave my head of a 11 year old boy with burns to 98% of his body, with no fingers abseil down a 10m wall. some people have amazing strength. i just hope i can keep helping people for the rest of my life

i am more than happy to share any travel advice of the places that i have been, i would love to learn some different languages such as french or spanish. im such there is many more skills i can offer to teach people but cant think of any more now
