ABOUT ME

My name is Jason and I am a part of the trio that made up the Hammock Brothers. Jon got married and Justin is busy with other things in life but I'm still in love with traveling even though lately I've been mostly staying in Washington growing my business. I did surf though a while back three times in Iceland and I surfed in Munich Germany during Oktoberfest with my new friend Martin which was one of the best times I've had in my life. I have really enjoyed all my experiences couchsurfing and I want to start hosting again and so hit me up and I'll show you around my neck of the woods. This state has a lot to offer and I am a good person to show you what's here:)

PHILOSOPHY

Quality over Quantity, carpe diem, seeing everything the world has to offer is to good to pass up, we are today who we will be five years from now except for the books that we read and the people we meet, if your not living on the edge in life your taking up to much space, knowledge speaks wisdom listens, your only stuck in life if your stuck in your way of thinking.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am surfing when traveling but when I am home I have a couch and a hammock that I have put up willing to share.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

January 2014
I surfed in Iceland with some great folks. We swam in natural hot springs, saw the northern lights, went on three epic road trips, eat whale and fermented shark, drank beer in a dairy farm above the cows in northern Iceland to name just a few of the experiences.

January 2010
Three amazing weeks hosting Sam our first couch surfer. Climbed mt Pillchuck, bathed in Olympic hotsprings, sunset over rialto beach, relaxed along fire at lake Quinault Lodge in January 2010.
Discussed travels and books with Ryan

9000 mile road trip across the west coast Feb-March 2010
Hosted Kelly for five days while she attended a local ecology conference

Surfed at Basecamp San Francisco with Jessica for five wonderful days! Feb 2010
Explored the ancient ruins at Mesa Verde with Amy March 2010
Surfed with a fellow brewer Nick and his darling fiance' Laina - two new friends in Boise Idaho

Hosted Ben for five days before heading off to Maui May 2010
Attended local CS picnic event and met some of our local couch surfering community... good food, new friends, and good times to come...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our friend Sam that we met through couchsurfing was one of the coolest experience of our lives. we traveled with him for months up and down the west coast of the United States in a VW Bus named the dragon. It's an amazing thing to be able to create friendships that would have never taken placed if it werent for couchsurfing
