ABOUT ME

Born in Venezuela and raised in Florida. I love food and dancing. I will eat anything and dance anywhere! A recent college graduate, I'm still trying to figure out my life, but mostly I just want to practice my Spanish and French. I love love learning, whether it be in a classroom, from a book, or listening to someone's opinions and perspectives! I'm a little shy at first, BUT I eventually warm up and do consider myself to be a rather friendly and fun person :)

Music: I can get down to some good hip-hop, salsa, or even Amr Diab. Beirut, Architecture in Helsinki, Metric, Wolf Parade, Bloc Party, Ida Maria, The Blow, Aventura (any bachata actually), Marc Anthony, Shakira YEAAAAAAAAHHHH

Books: Lonely Planet and language textbooks

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-drove a rental car through Lebanon and Syria
-played and slept in Egyptian desert (where I also saw my first shooting star and fox)
-rode a horse down Colombian mountains
-saw the Pyramids from the top of a minaret

Teach, Learn, Share

Would love to learn how to belly dance, sew, and drive a stick shift. AND I MUST PRACTICE MY FRENCH!

Can teach anyone how to step or bachata or merengue :)
