ABOUT ME

I grew up in Australia living on a small sheep farm on the outskirts of Canberra. Living in the bush and going to school in the city meant that I had the best of both worlds.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an old soul and I believe in just going for it. Not really one for big groups - I would rather have a hot chocolate in a small cafe somewhere and a good chat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never been a couch surfer before. I heard about it in Syria where I met a few couch surfers by chance in two cities who helped us around town. Then in france, a turkish friend was talking about his positive experiences in england couch surfing and I thought I would give it a try. I went to Bahrain with a friend and couch surfed and it was fun and I'd like to do it again.

Interests

I'm interested in the interaction between people. There is nothing better than putting a bunch of people in a room and finding out how they will get along and on what basis. Right now I'm interested in France and am looking to get around the country as much as possible and to meet french people to get their perspectives of life and what it is to be french.

I love music, reading and walking. I would describe myself as more of a quiet person. But I love meeting new people and hearing what they have to say and their take on things.

Hats are definately my thing, sometimes I think i was born in the wrong era...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music - classical guitar, Skunk Anansie, reggae, Australian country music.

I haven't seen any movies in a while. Over christmas I saw some classic french movies.
At the moment I'm reading Amin Malouf - Les identites meurtriers.
