ABOUT ME

The reason I joined is because I love to travel. I also like to host people since I enjoy talkng to new friends about life, work, food, stories, experiences, preferences or spiritual life. I think and speak straight, and to be consistent is important for me. I love working with children as I want to be useful to them, especially the ones who are unlucky. I belong to Atjeh Bicycle Community, in which I enjoy riding my bike around Banda Aceh. I go jogging in the morning and join in with Yoga sometimes. I like experimenting with new foods, and to cook. I like European movies, especially German ones.I love discussions which will enriching each other and bring everyone to another level of understanding, patience and tolerance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Its a life changing, change lots of perspective how I look the world now. Makes my world round teaches me so much lessons. Hosting, being hosted, meet people in the gatherings, sharing few recipes, or just few beers are just too few to mentions. Bottom line, when you meet a likeminded people you will believe that we still have hope in our world to spread more peace and love.

Interests

Cycling, experimenting with foods and cooking, talking to strangers, playing with the kids, reading news papers and talking with older people. I have and played JENGA, UNO Cards, Pictionary, and other card games but I cant play chess haha. I enjoy classical music, but alternative is my daily thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Big step to go to Australia last Christmas, 1 week in Sydney and 1 week in Melbourne. I went to Mansfield, Craig Hut where the famous movie from 1981 "The Man From The Snowy River" was filmed; a beautiful place. I saw wild Kangaroos, Koalas and Penguins. I've cycled around Lake Takengon in Central Aceh. In the province of Aceh, at almost every spot you can get great pictures. I've been cycling around Lake Toba, North Sumatera too. Had a great time. Fabulous experiences snorkling on Nias Island, Gili Trawangan Island and Sabang, Weh Island: all in Indonesia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been working with play therapy: psychosocial support programs for disaster and conflict affected victims, mostly chidlren. I love to share, learn and teach anyone with my best; looking forward for any opportunity and chances.
