ABOUT ME

I am a very active and energetic person, I am always open to meet new people. I am a city person and a nature person at the same time: I love living in the city centre and being able to go out in the evenings. At the same time I love to spend my freetime in nature (for example I would prefer a camping holiday in a beautiful scenery to a 5-star-hotel-holiday where you just lie on the beach everyday and get bored to death...). I am passionate about the things I love doing.
I like playing the guitar and spending my time with children.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think the idea of CS is fantastic and I like to support it by hosting people and would also sometimes like to benefit from it by surfing.

Guests, please note that as I have a busy life you'll have a much bigger chance of being hosted by me if you ask me some time in advance. I often get requests with one or two days notice and most of the times decline them because I already have other plans. Also work full time during the week, so I can only spend time with you in the evening then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few people and always enjoyed it! I have also met very nice people when I was travelling who became friends.

Interests

One of my passions is travelling, another one is music. I play the guitar and love to sing with friends around a camp fire (although the occasion arises not very often...). I also like to do sports, such as running, hiking, inline-skating, swimming, etc. And I like to dance salsa. Apart from that I also enjoy just hanging out with friends after work in a nice bar, have a games night or go to the cinema. And I love reading good books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to pick one thing: Travelling two months on my own through South East Asia and 6 months through Latin America - I did not only get to know other countries, cultures and people, but also I got to know myself better. I also worked as a volunteer one month in a free daycare for little children in Mexico and enjoyed it a lot.
