About Me
CURRENT MISSION
It is to live peacefully and stay healthy.
ABOUT ME
I am a mom of a son and a wife of a man who works hard for himself and family. I like to meet and help people. I am a people person but also enjoy being alone. I am warmly interested in others. I take my responsibility very seriously. I am independent. I see before others do what needs to be done, and I'm warm and calm.
PHILOSOPHY
1. Do whatever your passion directs you in a good way.
2. Believe your instinct.
3. Be positive
I live by this philosophy and look forward to new things everyday. Each day is a new adventure as I am always learning by experience. This always gives me a positive outlook for the day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to travel and want to show the world to my son who is 14 years old. If people warmly welcome us in other countries, he will have a different point of view about other nations. Couchsurfing will be a very good way to experience the world. I want others to experience our Korean culture by visiting my home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Yes. I just love it. My first experience was in April, 2010. I hope to have 100 friends all over the world.
Interests
I'd like to see the world's wonderful places and meet interesting people. Also want to find out there is good will and humane things in some places.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy romantic movies as well as cooking movies. My favorite music is Korean cross over music especially using the Kayagum stringed instrument. I read psychology books, such as Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell and motivation books like Awaken The Giant Within by Anthony Robbins. But I enjoy all kinds of books. The Food Revolution by John Robbins. The Good Life by Helen and Scott Nearing. Desert Flower by Waris Dirie and Cathleen Miller.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in the USA.
Raising my son.
Being an environmentalist.
Being a farmer for a month in Buan.
Teaching middle schoolers English.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to show them the Korean culture: our homelife, food, lifestyle, and the Korean way of thinking. As we share our different cultures back and forth, we will both learn new things.
