ABOUT ME

Well I'm back in Victoria now! I've been here since September and went to school to become a Paramedic. I'm still in the practical portion of my paramedic program, so that means that I get to go out and be the paramedic on calls and show my preceptors that I know my stuff. I go out and attend, help people out when they feel they need us, and just generally am exposed to the lifestyle of a paramedic. Its AMAZING!!! I absolutely love what I'm in school for, and can't wait to advance my career as a paramedic.

I enjoy meeting new people and making friends from all over. I enjoy going out to have a few pints (even more if the night calls for it), and going out to have a bit of a dance and a good laugh.

I'm pretty easy going and been told that I'm "easy to get along with", so we could probably be friends =D

I'm keen to travel all over the place and really want to go live abroad again. I'm eager for an adventure and some exploring. I love just making no plans and going with the flow of the day. I don't mind walking and wandering aimlessly looking about and ending up at the ocean.

I want to learn how to scuba dive so so badly and then go to the kelp forests. I've heard they are beautiful, and just looking at the pictures... you can't go wrong with that now can ya?

I'd like to challenge myself more in life ya know? Physically and mentally especially. Because I feel if I don't... I'm just there not learning and growing as a person. So, I think when I'm done my paramedic program I might go back to school for a few courses and just work on those. Just to keep learning... I love it. I love the challenge of politics to be honest... and social challenges in our world today. I feel like once you understand politics you can start to make sense of some of the world in some ways, like you can understand and follow the news better. You're more informed this way-you can understand why is there a war, the relationship between countries, the role your country plays in the world etc etc. It's interesting, but it can be a complete buzz kill...

I love writing. Writing is my way of putting whats in my head onto paper and making some sense of it. I think my best way of communication is by writing letters- I have an easier way of explaining myself that way. I've written SO much, and enjoy it thoroughly. I love using fountain pens and fancy little dip pens... I have a glass one. It's so much fun to use.

I better stop writing about myself before you know too much about me and I become a complete bore!
