About Me
A digital art student from Porto who decided to change his life and move to this awesome country named Poland. After living in 3 different Polish cities I can say this country has become a part of me and in a way like a second home.
As for me, I'm very fond of travelling and I try to be on the move more often than not. I'm fascinated with freedom and usually those trips where you're just going but don't know exactly where are the ones that appeal to me the most.
I enjoy any kind of nice atmosphere, from spontaneous moments and ideas with crazy people to nice evenings and conversations over a good coffee mug. Crazy ideas and unexpected plans are always welcome in my life! Life needs some craziness every now and then to evade the grasp of routine!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of couchsurfing and I was lucky enough to find it by the time I started travelling on my own. It honestly makes a world of difference. There's much more to every single place than just a place. Meeting local people, experiencing the local lifestyle, all of that plays a big role in experiencing a place and I'm glad someone came up with a way to create that kind of exchange while making travel more affordable to everyone at the same time.
I've had a few CS experiences over the years already and they usually turn out to be awesome! I've been to a few countries and I can say that in all of them I was able to meet wonderful people and have a really good time. As a host I've had less occasions but the same positive outcome, had a couple of really nice experiences and I'm eager for more.
Interests
Nature, hiking and exploring remote places is something that has always fascinated me. Also goes hand in hand with my passion for photography. On the other hand I also have a thing from technology, both personal use technology and keeping up to date with how science and technology develops.
As for entertainment I generally love everything sci-fi and similar stuff (science fantasy, alternate history, cyberpunk, steampunk, etc.) as well as fantasy and middle-ages. If you're a fan of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings or time-travel shows we will probably get along very well.
Music, Movies, and Books
As favourite books The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Brave New World.
As for movies Lord of the Rings, Predestination, Fight Club, The Mists of Avalon and Into the Wild are some of my personal favourites. I also have a taste for weird movies and Korean horror.
When it comes to music I mostly listen to metal, folk and Celtic music. I do listen to other stuff as well though. Love being surprised by hidden musical talent in totally unexpected places.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Lost my wallet within half an hour during my first time travelling. Managed to survive pretty well, the trip went much better than expected and I got addicted afterwards (to travelling, not losing my wallet).
- Hitchhiked a German train into Switzerland.
- Moved to Poland which turned out to be my best life decision so far
Teach, Learn, Share
What I could and gladly would share with others would be mostly life experiences and interesting stories, and I'm also looking forward to those who can share theirs.
Apart from that, I have bits of knowledge here and there that I'll be glad to share with anyone eager to learn. I have some knowledge in photography, image editing and 3d modelling, a bit of programming too, weird "hocus pocus stuff" like tarot and runes, how to use Adobe programs without smashing your PC with a hammer, how to survive after you've lost all money and documents or how to cook delicious Polish pierogi (still perfecting that one).

Albania, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Norway, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom
