ABOUT ME
Hello and welcome to my Couch surfing page; if you have made it this far do read on. I'm a light hearted optimist who has no gauge for sanity; either we are all insane or sane there is no in-between. I like to think that I am kind and humble; I try firstly to recognise kindness, even the smallest one and to do as much for others as others do for me.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to enjoy as many moments as I can. Peace begins with the individual and every day you have it is not only a blessing but a victory. To keep the mind as open as possible and that one should always equate to one.
The world is a steamy mirror for the soul; as time goes by the steam clears and bit by bit you see yourself, the things you want to and the things you don't to be through the places you go, your experiences and the people you meet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to bring the world to me as much as I would like to see it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books
I could never truly express my passion for music within the character limit here. I will listen to anything twice. At any stage in my life I have listened to every Genre I can think of with the exception of some Metal sub-genres. I would describe my favourite kind of music as 'otherworldly', music that evokes the imagination and takes you somewhere else.
Second to music, I love to read. I try to read at one or two books a week. I couldn't tell you who my favourite writer is but I'm a big fan of Hemmingway, Hesse and Dostoevsky in particular. I tend to give the books I read away.
So if you come to me; bring your favourite music and expect to leave with a book
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Busking in General. Gone to a Joanna Newsom conert. Stoned on queens night in the Hague. Getting drunk in Galway. Couchsurfed with Judith and Chang. Mischief with Mike. Stood next to the Motherland statue in Volgograd. Paragliding from the Eben alp in Appenzellerland, Switzerland. The first time I ever saw the Mythen mountain, Switzerland. Shared a stage with some great friends playing music I really believed in. Winning fistfuls of Dollars at the Saratoga Races in upstate New York. Traveling through the French Alps by train. Just being in Perugia.
