About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get My College Loans Paid Off So I Can Get Back To Living!

ABOUT ME

I thoroughly enjoy the simpler life. I have hitchhiked across the United States on a couple occasions and have spent a chunk of my life living out of my van to save money to get rid of my college debts and so that I cannot have a tv nearby, forcing me to read and read.I spend the vast majority of my free time exploring political, religious (I'm a staunch atheist), economical, and educational happenings and proudly label myself a Voluntaryist (if you are unfamiliar with the term, research it as it is the philosophy of those who truly desire freedom).
I'm a wicked goof-off, love biking and exploring the urban setting, and am always down for a good dumpster dive (it's like a big metal grab bag).

PHILOSOPHY

Let each person live their own lives with minimal interference from others (That includes all you religious types and the Government!!) and the Non-Aggression Principle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I wish I could participate more, but I'm currently living in my van.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Perfect!

Interests

Reading: I almost exclusively read non-fiction (though authors such as George Orwell and Ayn Rand have had the most profound affects on me). I love reading history, biographical, science, economic, atheistic, and political books. (Reading is without a doubt the best thing you can do for yourself. It's life-changing once you get into it).Traveling: Wherever I travel I sleep in my van, or if I decide not to take it, simply sleep in the streets. This has forced me to explore many cities at all hours and get really creative when finding a spot to sleep. The memories it's produced are amazing, and I can't believe the fortunate events that have fallen into my lap because of this traveling style. Freedom: I am most interested in working toward a world of true freedom for all. Freedom from chattel slavery, religious dogma, and political oppression.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love a vast array of music. I am very into heavy metal (especially thrash). I cannot stand commercial/club rap, but love underground rap (which actually conveys a real message!). I listen to a lot of artists that get me teased (Phil Collins, Jewel, etc.), and I love classical music (my favorite composer being Antonin Dvorak). Reading: History, Philosophy, Politics, Atheism, Economics, Science, Ayn Rand, and Released Government Documents. Just keep reading! And if you're unfamiliar with podcasts, give them a try. Depending on which ones you choose, it's like listening to audiobooks. I am also a goof who loves the Simpsons, South Park, Beavis & Butthead, and Family Guy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hitchiked across the U.S. a couple times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to get across the states with no money. I can also sew. I am sick of being monolingual, one day I will know another language and teach that!
