About Me

Hello everyone, I grew up in a small village near Freiburg, Germany. After I graduated from high school, I moved to Karlsruhe for studying industrial engineering. I studied and lived in Mexico to write my masters thesis. Currently, I work in Munich, but live in Porto.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up for my journey in the Philippines and unfortunately I forgot about Couchsurfing trying to use it more often nowadays! During my trip in Guatemala I used it for the first time and I really had a great time! That is the reason, why I want to use Couchsurfing more frequently: For meeting people from around the world and enjoying the exchange!

Interests

I really love to try new things out: Doesn’t matter if sports, cultural things, working experience, … This often means also, to give up some other things you also like. But there are also some things, I can’t imagine to give up, e.g. playing pool billiard, go sailing and diving in holidays. And there are still some other stuffs, I really want to try out in the future, e.g. paragliding.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have any specific preferences for the kind of music, movies & books. What media I'm consuming depends on my mood and includes anything from electronical music to classic, series to sports, newspaper to fantasy books. To be more concrete but also exemplary: I like to watch Game of Thrones and National Football League - I love listening Deep House but sometimes I am listening a violin concerto too - I am reading Harry Potter in Spanish to improve vocabulary - and many more things ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking the 2,5 km long Ziprider into the Cooper Canyon to enjoy the amazing view over the huge canyon from the inside.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learned Spanish here in Mexico and I really love to speak it, but also need to improve it. In return, I can teach you some easy German vocabulary :) Furthermore, I was an instructor for making the sailing-boat and motor-boat license and organized a sport championship during the semester at my university. with about 1700 participants at my university.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A beer with crisps, talking, laughing and having a good time :)
