About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"to dance across the world... and meet everyone along the way"
ABOUT ME
I recently quit my boring corporate mathematician job designing algorithms for casinos to move to Rome and work for the Jesuit Refugee Service. If I haven't bored you with that first statement, and you've decided to keep reading, I studied International Studies, Math, and Political Science. I am a social justice and adrenaline junkie. I love to dance, and danced professionally with 4 different companies/collectives/crews whenever I'm not working. I play the piano, and feel that music can say everything words can't. I have traveled and lived abroad quite a bit, but hell if I'm done yet. I have a secret wish to change the world, which is smaller than we think! If I'm so lucky to cross paths with you, I will probably spare no time in getting to know you. Sharing life philosophies and going on "life walks" is my favorite thing... till we meet, world friends.
PHILOSOPHY
I never sleep, or try not to, because life is too short to miss nearly half of it. I generally stay in an awesome mood, because if I stop to think about it, there's nothing in my life bad enough to put me in a bad mood... frankly, I'd rather be in a good one. I love life, and laugh way too much. Some call me a hippie... I'd say that hippies are just chill people with a passion.

Interests
Everything and anything interesting.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: nearly everything, especially anything cultural, but I especially love K'naan, The Beatles, Jack Johnson, and Matisyahu
Books: Oh, far to many to list, but Einstein's Dreams and Siddhartha are up on that "Life Changing" list.
Movies: Don't really watch many movies, but I'd have to say Breakfast Club, Office Space and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are up there.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've rode camels through the Sahara and overlooked the Great Pyramids at sunset. I've swam in the Dead Sea. I've snorkeled the reefs in the Red Sea. I've stood where Jesus was born. I've stuck prayers in the wailing wall. I was in the West Bank during a Palestinian riot. I've walked from Egypt into Israel at 1:00AM. I've been to visit the Roma gypsies at the camps they're forced to live in. I've talked with and befriended African and Middle Eastern political refugees. I've sipped tea in Europe, while overlooking Asia. I've survived the absolutely delicious 10 course homemade Italian lunch... and then later 10 course dinner. I've made it to here, and am not stopping anytime soon!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll teach you how to laugh at anything (including myself,) and maybe how to dance or play the piano too.
