About Me

CURRENT MISSION

As Rumi would say - to chew quietly our sweet sugarcane god-love and stay playfully childish.

ABOUT ME

ALL about me? A start: I'm Finnish but have grown up all over - Tanzania, Namibia, Vietnam, France, I'm currently living in the UK after I finished my studies of Anthropology and Development 3 years ago. Life has a funny way of turning out so now after 12 years of not having lived in Finland at all, I'm slowly starting to dip my feet into my home-country again...

I have a heart that pulls me towards a lot of things that are from West Africa - I've been learning the drumming and dancing now for several years (did a trip out there for 2 months, incredible!) and recently picked up the kora, the African harp, with 21 one strings, I truly believe that its music of the angels!

I enjoy meeting new people, I prefer trees to buildings, I love food (GOOD food), making chocolate, playing music, DANCING, friends, humor, good talks, honest talks, relaxing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked through the Indonesian Mentawai rainforest with a local shaman. Watched and listened to the monsoon rain approaching on the Hanoian aluminum rooftops. Been in a thunderstorm in the fields of Slovenian countryside. I've seen some amazing smiles and hearts out there too, and I'm looking forward to seeing some more.

Teach, Learn, Share

Share: stories, drumming, poetry (check interests), riding a bicycle, crazy dancing (my signature style is a whimsical foot-flailing kinda dance), languages.
Learn: about your lives, new languages, how to sing, how to juggle, anything, anything really. Teach me how to make your favourite food!
