ABOUT ME

Our family consists of Markus and I and our three teenage daughters, Madeleine, Grace and Harriet. We are currently living in Riga, Latvia.

PHILOSOPHY

We try to model and teach our girls the importance of being people of honesty and integrity who practically live their faith every day.
One of my favourite sayings is by Souza-
Dance as though no one is watching you,
Love as though you have never been hurt,
Sing as though no one can hear you,
Live as though heaven is on earth.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We joined CS three years ago, just before we went on a seven month world trip. Over that time we initially hosted two groups of French people and had a ball. We CS with many wonderful people in Europe during out trip. When we arrived back in Australia we lived in a tiny house and unfortunately were unable to host. However, we would love to now host again and have a lovely apartment to share.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had such a lovely time with the two groups that we hosted. Both of them were from France and we had a great time with them. During our travels, we learnt that there are so many incredibly giving, generous people in this world.

兴趣

Our combined interests are bike riding, great coffee, fashion, drawing, food and cooking, volunteering, crocheting, community gardens and animals and of course travel. Our mission to see the world has become a reality and we love travel.

We love French singers such as Madeleine Peyroux and other French music. Also Celtic, jazz, Eighties style music. We love Science Fiction books and movies as well as anything historically based. Markus especially loves action movies, whilst the girls like comedy.
